You were informed that His Excellency was prepared to accept your resignation in the letter from this Dept. of the 17th Sept.; and that the salary you have received to the 30th Sept inclusive was advanced on the understanding that you would refund it from the date at which your half salary (or, as in his case, full salary) is to be determined according to the rules.
The wires having originally been damaged, his desire to do so, will be determined according to the rules.

Care has been taken to ensure that the refund of salary for part of the time from the 10th Sept. to the date of expiration of your leave will be required.
